After reading the kaw kaw Malaysia deal , I don't think they are even acting like a normal trading company anymore

yup ~~~ the 44m deal is not just for investment , it has structure profit sharing , exit plan and protected returns.

this saying they are becoming " investing holding style" not pure trading anymore

the interesting part is they are investing f&b brand manager by the same team behind bungkus kaw kaw and ah cheng laksa .

hmm , that change the angle completely , because bungkus kaw kaw is more like scalable lifestyle brand

yes , ah cheng laksa is more like a single product identity, also a strong core brand ( I miss their laksa now ) hahaha. therefore they are also more easy to expand outlet

and kaw kaw sit in between, more like a system brand ,menu , outlet , operation already structured for scaling .

seems a smart move for hm , they are betting on the system

the deal also shown that they get profit distribution first until capital is recovered.
