Oil prices already very low but share price (supposed to recovered) still stagnant at a weak range. Just be patience and wait for QR2 results ended 30/6/2026 due out in August. Scrutinise and analyse the P&L and current liabilities (to confirm recent slow payment issues) in Balance Sheet.
The only certainty nowadays is uncertainty ! Crude oil up and at the highest, AAX down. Crude oil at the lowest < US$70, AAX down. Global economic cycle and certainty will determine capacity and pricing.
“AirAsia halts direct flights between Singapore and Jakarta. AirAsia's Indonesian subsidiary Indonesia AirAsia previously provided a daily Singapore-Jakarta service, but this will be halted from 1 July 2026.” Not looking good when various direct flight routes need to be curtailed despite current low global crude oil prices ! A very big move indeed for Indonesia AirAsia to exit Singapore (Jakarta & Bali routes) after 17 years.
